A wrap up with a list of personal faves and recommendations. I tend to scoot by without really taking stock of what happened in my life. The Microdosing Joy series helps me take a little snapshot of my life for the last 30 days.
Yearning
- A full size bottle of Russian Tea perfume by Masque Milano. I ordered a sample and i’m a bit obsessed. It starts off with strong raspberry scent and settles into a cool black tea with a light smokey scent. It’s mysterious but doesn’t take itself too seriously.
- Bloomers!! They just come off so romantic and slightly hobbit-esque. I’m tempted to learn how to sew so i can make myself a billion pairs of them. I’ve seen a few videos on people turning boho skirts into bloomers and it seems like such a great hack!
- About two weeks off of work. It’s been feeling pretty nonstop lately and with my move coming up this weekend, it’s not going to stop anytime soon. I’m taking some time off to have a long weekend and i’m hoping the new place and the quick break will be a nice reset.
- Cute bolo ties. To be honest, i’m not quite sure how to wear them, but i really dig the look as a whole.
- Silky Satin Harem Pants. I have a few different aesthetics and one of them is a pixie who is hiding among humans for the day. Plus, these would be so refreshing in the summer heat.
Loving:
- Cold Brews with orange blossom syrup from Ani’s Day & Night.
- The homemade blueberry syrup I made and have been putting in everything.
- Gluten Free Meatballs. I like to pair them with rice, cucumbers, tomatoes and tzatziki sauce for a fast Greek inspired dinner.
- My weighted blanket. It helps me slowly shift back into my body when i’m stressed and i sleep about 15% deeper at night when i use it. I often forget it exits until i suddenly remember and then drag it all over the house.

- Envy by Ogi.

- Scavengers Reign on Netflix. A great watch if you like sci-fi.
- The Antique Shop by Ghostly Thistle. A whimsically spooky podcast.
- Crowd Caffeine by Sofia Isella. Think a dark love child of Kiki Rockwell & Hozier.
Favorite Purchases:
- My Canon Ivy 2 Photo Printer! I’ve been wanting a bluetooth printer for so long and this one is perfect! I’ve been printing out pics that have lived on my phone for forever and putting them in a tiny photo album that I have or using them to scrap jounal. I’m so excited to see where this goes.
- My own inner tube float! I’m short (5ft 2) and my limbs are a little too short to sit in the innertubes that most river float places provide. I end up kind of starfishing so I can stay afloat and the whole point is to relax. So I got this guy for $15 at academy and actually had a good time this round!
- Ann Taylor High Waisted Straight Leg Jeans. Never imagined i would be an Ann Taylor girlie, but when jeans are 70% off you gotta at least check them out. They come off pretty casual, but the length is perfect on my frame and even cuter with a tiny cuff roll. The only downside is that they tend to lose their shape after 2 wears.
